1. About Ceylon Seekers

Ceylon Seekers is a marketplace that connects travelers with local Sri Lankan guides. The platform may allow guides to publish tour packages, travelers to publish inquiries, and both sides to communicate and move toward bookings.

2. User accounts

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or using the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account.

3. Guide verification requirements

Guides may be required to complete verification before accessing certain platform features. This may include submitting NIC details, address verification, and other personal information needed for KYC, moderation, fraud prevention, and trust-building.

Ceylon Seekers may approve, reject, suspend, or review guide accounts, listings, or verification submissions at its discretion.

4. Listings, inquiries, and content

• Guides are responsible for the accuracy of listings, pricing, inclusions, and travel information they publish
• Travelers are responsible for the accuracy of inquiries, dates, budgets, and trip requirements they submit
• Users must not publish false, misleading, unlawful, abusive, or infringing content
• Ceylon Seekers may edit, remove, reject, or moderate content where necessary for safety or quality control

5. Bookings and traveler-guide arrangements

Ceylon Seekers provides the platform infrastructure that supports discovery, communication, and booking flow. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, tours and travel services are provided by guides or service providers, not directly by Ceylon Seekers.

6. User conduct

You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes attempting fraud, impersonation, submitting fake verification records, accessing unauthorized data, spamming users, harassing others, scraping content, or interfering with platform security or operations.

7. Payments, cancellations, and disputes

Payment handling, cancellation terms, refunds, and service-specific arrangements may depend on how the booking is processed and the agreement between the relevant parties. Users are expected to communicate clearly and honestly when managing trip details and changes.

8. Suspension or removal

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to accounts, listings, inquiries, or other content if we believe a user has violated these terms, created risk for others, submitted false information, or harmed the operation or reputation of the marketplace.

9. Limitation of liability

Ceylon Seekers works to provide a better and more trusted marketplace, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, the conduct of every user, or the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of every tour or travel arrangement published on the platform.

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates are posted means you accept the revised terms.
